Have you ever noticed how life is about change? Things are changing for Concordia First UMC, for me, and for the United Methodist denomination. My arrival in Concordia is a blessing from God to me, and I pray for you. I guess you could say I’m the “new kid on the block.”
Just as I’ve been welcomed to Concordia and to the First United Methodist Church family, I’d like to invite you to come alongside us and let Jesus’ teachings challenge you, participate with us in Spirit-inspired worship of God, learn about and practice discipleship as part of our family, and participate in the joy of service to our world. Come change the world with us one life at a time. Whether you’re new to Concordia like me or a lifelong resident of Cloud County, you have a place in our family.
As a church family, Concordia First UMC engages needs in the community and provides opportunities to be present to our mission field through commodities distribution, Fall Fest, Change the World Sunday, Vacation Bible School, Christmas Caroling, and a host of other activities. Let this be a season of change in your life and come see what we’re all about!
