On behalf of the Concordia First United Methodist Church family, I want to welcome you to our place on the internet. I hope you find this website welcoming and informative.
We worship every Sunday at 10:30 AM in our Sanctuary. As you enter our building you will be greeted by one of our several volunteers who will welcome you and help find your way around. We have a refreshment center where you are more than welcome to grab a cup of coffee and bring it with you into the Sanctuary. We invite you to come as you are. Whether you come dressed in a suit or dress or prefer more of an informal look including t-shirt and jeans, you are welcome.
Our worship service is a blended service including both traditional and contemporary worship music and often includes our choir or special music including soloists and instrumentalists. Our beautiful and powerful Wicks pipe organ accompanies most of our worship services.
As one of several churches in the Concordia area, we are involved in our community. We provide a Little Food Pantry in our parking lot for those needing some help with food needs. On Wednesday nights during the school year, we invited you to our Fellowship Hall on the lower level for Table Talk. We begin the evening at 6:00 pm with a light meal followed by activities for youth and adults alike. Please take some time and read more about our ministries included on this website.
As pastor, I feel blessed to serve such a caring community. I hope you will find your time with us in worship or during any of our other ministries and activities a blessing as well!
