Little Free Pantry

Current Needs

If you would like to help feed those in our community who are food insecure, we ask that you place items directly into the pantry at your convenience.  If you prefer, you can also make a monetary donation to help purchase food for the pantry.

History and More Information

As part of our 6th annual Change the World event in April 2017, a Little Free Pantry was installed at the church.  The pantry is accessible from the upper parking lot of the church.

The community is invited to both take items from the box and place items in the box.  Please do not leave expired items in the pantry.

During the winter months, we ask that you not leave items in the pantry that could freeze when the weather is predicted to be extremely cold.  In particular, canned goods can freeze and spoil.  Ideas for items to leave in the pantry include: crackers, rice meals, macaroni and cheese, hot chocolate, popcorn, and beef jerky.

If the pantry is full or you have extra items to donate, they can be left in the Food Box located under the coat racks in the church entry.

A card is available in the pantry that lists the suggested items to leave in the pantry and items that should not be left.  Images of the card can be found below.

The pantry was dedicated by the congregation on July 9, 2017.
